Ms. Lucchi grew up in San Rafael, 45 minutes outside of San Francisco. Beginning in elementary school and through high school, she played basketball and softball and enjoyed participating in Drama and Student Council.
She attended UCSB and worked at the UCSB children’s center from 2007 - 2011. She graduated with a B.A. in English and a minor in Education in 2011, and received her credential and Masters in Education from Gevirtz Graduate School in 2012. Her favorite classes were her modern literature classes and Black Studies classes. One of her most memorable classes was a class based on graphic novels.
Ms. Lucchi loves any opportunity to travel and see new places. Some of her favorite trips were when she studied abroad in Greece, a summer vacation that involved a wedding in Bali and a road trip down the coast of Australia, and a road trip closer to home through California and Oregon.
Ms. Lucchi appreciates the kindness and dedication she sees in all of the Isla Vista staff, students, and families and feels so honored to be part of the Isla Vista Community.
Mr. Warren grew up in Albany, CA, the northwest corner of Berkeley, CA. He grew up 100 yards from a bus stop, and a mile from the North Berkeley Bart station. With a few dollars in his pocket, and a skateboard under his arm, Mr. Warren created his fondest memories exploring every nook and cranny of the East Bay and San Francisco.
With the Bay Area sufficiently explored, Mr. Warren ventured south to San Diego State from where he received his degree in Spanish and enjoyed the surfing off the shores of San Diego.
Mr. Warren, a veteran of the Isla Vista teaching staff, takes great joy in his daily interaction with his colleagues.
In his spare time, Mr. Warren likes to cook, sing, surf, and travel.
